Boys Girls Middle School Cross Country
The Middle School Cross Country program is open to all girls and boys in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
Practice begins Monday, August 20. Practices prior to school starting are Monday through Friday; 9:30 - 11:00 am. Athletes should meet behind the middle school. If your runner cannot make a practice please contact the coaches and let them know! We encourage them to still run on their own if possible.
Once school begins practices will shift to after school, Monday through Friday, 2:45 - 4:15 pm.
All athletes MUST have a valid physical on file prior to participating. To be a valid physical it must be dated on or after April 15, 2018. Please turn in physicals to the athletic office in the high school. You may also email the physical to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Athletes should have a good pair of running shoes. No cross trainers or soccer shoes. We end up running a fair amount of miles. All runners will have run at least 3 miles at some point and good running shoes really make a difference for the health of the runner's feet and knees; especially if they are dual sport athletes.
We will use the remind texting app for info throughout the season as well as emails.
