Girls Basketball Improves to 5-1 with win over BCC

The girls' varsity basketball team raised their overall record to 5-1 and their SMAC East Division record to 3-0 with a 54-36 win over BC Central Friday night. Leading the Blue Devil scoring were Ashton Whitman with 13 points and Audrey DeWaters with 12 points. Katelyn Jerke added 8 points and Avery Cook chipped in with 6 points. The ladies travel to Marshall on Tuesday for their final game before winter break. Tip-off is around 7:15 pm.
