Gull Lake took their triple-option offensive attack down to Tecumseh and came away with a hard-fought 48-47 victory.  Both teams found the end zone 4 times each in the first half, with Tecumseh taking a narrow 28-26 lead into the half. 

In the 1^st quarter, Gull Lake’s James Romyak scored from 11 yards out and Noah Blake hit Silas VanWormer for a 57-yard touchdown through the air. Anthony Baptiste converted both PATs. In the 2^nd quarter, VanWormer scored from 10 yards away and Noah Blake touched the endzone from 8 yards out with zeros showing on the clock leading to halftime. 

The Blue Devils and the Indians continued their fight in the second half.  Gull Lake’s James Romyak took over the ground control by chewing up yard after yard in the 3^rd quarter and scoring from both 8 yards & 3 yards out.  Silas VanWormer capped off the scoring for the Blue Devils in the 4^th quarter by sneaking in from the 1 yardline. 

The Blue Devil defense came up big when they needed to in the second half against Tecumseh’s air attack to preserve the win.  Silas VanWormer had a key interception deep in Tecumseh territory stop an Indian drive late in the game.  The biggest play of the night belongs to Gull Lake’s defensive tackle, Jack DeVore.  He blocked a potential game-tying PAT with under 4 minutes left in the game to seal the win for the Blue Devils.
