Gull Lake loses close contest to Lansing Waverly

Gull Lake and Lansing Waverly played a competitive game Friday night with momentum going back and forth until late in the 4th quarter when the Warriors scored late in the game to take a 9-point led, and the win, 21-12. The game was tied at half 6 - 6 and Gull Lake took the lead after 3 quarters 12-6. Waverly scored twice in the 4th quarter for the Warrior win. Blue Devil QB Eric White scooted in from 3 yards in the 2nd quarter. In the 3rd quarter, White hit Silas White from 41 yards out for Gull Lake's second score of the night and a brief lead in the second half.
