GL Battles BC Central but Falls Short Friday Night

Gull Lake and BC Central played a great HS football game Friday night in Richland. The Bearcats scored three times in the 4th quarter and pulled away for the victory, 40-23. Gull Lake trailed 14-8 at halftime and also found themselves down 20-8 before they came back with scores of their own in both the 3rd and 4th quarters to take a 23-20 lead with just over 9 minutes left in the 4th. Central found their rhythm late in the game to take the win on the road.

Eric White threw a TD passes to Parker Ray (42y) in the 2nd Q and to Haidyn Garrison (16y) in the 3rd Q. White also rushed for a TD from 10 yards out in the 4th quarter which gave the Blue Devils a brief lead in the 4th quarter.
