Boys Varsity Football Fights for First Win of Their Season

Gull Lake picked up their first victory of the season by defeating Loy Norrix 23-14. QB Eric White snuck in from 1 yd out and Dylan Stanton returned a kick off for 82 yards in the 1st half. Nate Willard nailed a 22 yard FG as time expired in the 1st half. GL led 17-14. Nate Willard thundered in from 58 yards out in the 4th quarter to secure the victory. Dylan Stanton, Grant Feraco, and Jacob Wiley all had interceptions and Kevin Hook recovered a fumble for the Blue Devil defense. Final score: GL 23 LN 14.
