Gull Lake started out in a huge hole early. The Blue Devils fumbled the opening kick off. Loy Norrix capitalized right away for the early 6-0 lead. Again, Gull Lake fumbled the kick off and Loy Norrix recovered their second consecutive fumble. Loy Norrix held a 14-0 lead after the 1st quarter. 

Gull Lake managed to put together their first successful offense drive in the 2nd quarter. The drive was capped off by a 15 yard run by junior Nate Willard.  Loy Norrix scored twice in the second quarter to take a halftime lead 26-7. The Knights last score came with no time on the clock.

 Loy Norrix started the 3rd quarter with a 3-and-out.  This momentum shift allowed Gull Lake come back into the game. A 1-yard touchdown run by Dawson Clancy and a 2-yard touchdown run by Ravelle Johnson brought Gull Lake within 9, 32-21. Gull Lake couldn’t convert on some third downs in the fourth quarter and Loy Norrix increased their run game to use up the 4th quarter clock. Final score:  Loy Norrix 32 Gull Lake 21.
