Game 1 Portage Northern 11, Gull Lake 0 in 5 Innings

Portage Northern racked up 11 runs on 14 hits, and Cam French kept Gull Lake off balance shutting them out while scattering 2 hits in 5 innings.

Portage Northern belted 2 home runs in the contest, a solo shot by Gannon Andrews, and a 2 run blast by Nolan McCarthy. Cam French added 3 hits to go along with his dominant pitching performance.

Gull Lake’s Dawson Clancy doubled, and Carson Senske singled for Gull Lake’s 2 hits.

Luke Scoles picked up the loss for Gull Lake.

Game 2 Gull Lake 1, Portage Northern 0 suspended in the 2nd inning.

Gull Lake jumped to a 1-0 lead in the Top of the 1st after back to back singles by Justin Mansager, and Jacob Louden. Both would move up on an errant pickoff attempt that sailed into centerfield. Mansager would eventually  score on a passed ball.

The Game was suspended in the bottom of the 2nd due to weather.
