Gull Lake 6, Vicksburg 1.

Gull Lake collected 6 runs on 7 hits in the win, while only giving up 1 run on 2 hits. Gull Lake got on the board in the 3rd inning when Senior Catcher Dawson Clancy led off the inning with a single. Hunter Hazel and JT Mansager both singled to load the bases. A Jacob Louden walk plated courtesy runner Carson Senske for Gull Lake’s first run. Next up Dylan Stanton hit into a Fielder’s Choice to score Hazel giving Gull Lake a 2-0 lead. Gull Lake scored 2 more runs on a 2 RBI Double by Luke Scoles. Gull Lake plated 2 more in the 4th on a two out single by Jacob Louden. At the end of 4, Gull Lake 6, Vicksburg 0. Vicksburg’s lone run came in the 5th after  Austin Ziegler who led off the inning with a single, scored on a wild pitch. Breckin Burdette had Vicksburg’s other hit. Senior Brandon Ruge picked up the win on the mound for Gull Lake, Jacob Conklin suffered the loss for Vicksburg. Senior Hunter Hazel picked up 2 hits, one from each side of the plate, newcomer Junior Jacob Louden collected his first varsity hit along with 3 RBI’s. Luke Scoles added a double and 2 RBI’s. JT Mansager, Kole Warren, and Dawson Clancy all had hits in the win.

Vicksburg will travel to Caledonia on April 9th, while Gull Lake heads to Battle Creek Harper Creek on April 9th as well. ???????
