Varsity baseball goes 2-1 at Pat Lowe Tournament

The Varsity baseball team went 2-1 at the Pat Lowe Memorial Tournament in Coldwater. The Blue Devils defeated Lenawee Christian in the first game, 14-0. Trenton Quartermaine led the Blue Devils with a three run home run. Temperance Bedford defeated the Blue Devils in the second game, 1-5. Brandon Ruge pitched 5 innings and recorded 7 strikeouts. In the final game of the day the Blue Devils defeated Coldwater, 9-8. Cade Stanton put Gull Lake ahead with a 2-run homer in the 5th inning. Trenton Quartermaine picked up the win on the mound. The Blue Devils travel to Portage Northern on Tuesday.
