Your JV team came up a bit short on the scoreboard after hard fought battle against the Lakeshore Lancers, 32-27 Thursday night. Gull Lake held a 4th quarter lead 27-24, but Lakeshore scored late in the 4th quarter to take the lead for good. Your Blue Devils had a chance for victory with 4:00 minutes to go in the game, but their last drive fell short. 

Gull Lake scored 3 times in the second quarter.  Parker Ray scored on a fake punt pass from 70 yards out for the 1st score, Lane Smith scored on a kick-off return from 80 yards out, and P. Ray caught his second TD pass from Eric White to make it 24-20 Lakeshore at the half. 

Eric White ran in from 2 yards out for the Blue Devils’ last score of the night and for a 27-24 lead in the 3rd quarter. 

Other highlights include; Lane Smith scooped up a fumble for the defense, Luc Rusli recovered a kick-off fumble, and the defense was strong all night long, making Lakeshore earn every one of their drives.
