Gull Lake came out of the gates hot in their homecoming game against the Otsego Bulldogs. The Blue Devils scored twice early on runs by junior running back Nolan Greenwood.  Greenwood scored on left-side runs of 23 and 65 yards in the opening quarter.  Kicker Anthony Baptiste converted on 1 of 2 PATs.

Gull Lake’s offense continued to roll in the 2^nd quarter. Senior running back Brendan Stoneburner tallied a score of his own with a 29-yard run around the right side.  2-point PAT run was good by Greenwood.  Nolan Greenwood scored his 3^rd touchdown in the half with a 56-yard TD off the left edge.  Baptiste was good with the PAT.  The Blue Devil passing game joined the touchdown club with a score of their own.  Senior Silas VanWormer connected with senior Haidyn Garrison for an 80-yard scoring pass.  Baptiste’s PAT was good.  Gull Lake led at the half 35-0.

Gull Lake’s defense kept the Bulldogs out of the end zone with their swarming defense all night long.  Interceptions by junior Noah Blake, along with seniors Angelo Archie and Brendan Seiler helped secure the Blue Devil shutout and a homecoming victory.  Final score:  Gull Lake 35  Otsego  0
