Gull Lake struggled to move the ball in the 1st half. Juston Larkin provided the Blue Devil spark in the 1st quarter with an 85 yd TD on a KO return directly after Stevensville-Lakeshore scored to take a short 7-0 lead. Larkin's TD was followed by a successful 2 pt run by Nate Willard. GL led after one quarter 8-7.
In the 2nd quarter, Lakeshore tackled a Blue Devil punter after a botched punt snap deep in Gull Lake's own territory. Lakeshore scored from 3 yards out on the next play to take the lead into halftime 14-8.
Gull Lake got on the board in the 4th quarter with a defensive scoop-and-score. Nolan Fraaza scooted in from 24 yards out for the defense on the fumble recovery. Lakeshore crossed the goal line twice in the second half for the lead and the win. Final score S-L 27 GL 16
