Your JV Football team created a dramatic finish in their last game of the season in a 20-20 tie against Kalamazoo Central.  The Blue Devil trailed at the half 20-7 before they mounted their comeback.  Eric White scored from 2 yards out to give Gull Lake a 7-6 lead after the 1st quarter.  Kalamazoo Central scored the next 2 TD's in the 2nd quarter to take the 20-7 lead going into the half.  Gull Lake's halftime adjustments paid off.  Your Blue Devils shut down the Maroon Giants, kept them off of the scoreboard, and held their offense to only 2 first downs in the 3rd and 4th quarters.  

Parker Ray's long 90 yard touchdown in the 4th quarter sparked the comeback and tied the score at 20 a piece.  Gull Lake stuffed KC once again to force a late punt and a short field to work with.  The Blue Devils were able to bring the ball down to the 10 yard line and a chance for a 20 yard FG with :06 seconds on the clock.  The Maroon Giants were able to block the FG attempt as the clock expired to end the game with the score knotted at 20-20.

The JV team ended their season at 3-5-1.   Congratulations on a strong and fun sophomore season.
